Channel Islands Pride Guernsey - programme of events

We have an amazing line up for you this year!

Start the day with yoga at Candie gardens led by leading New York yoga instructor Justin Wolfer Yoga.

Bring family and friends for our big picnic at 2pm then parade down to Market Square to the sound of Samba Burros.

Our amazing family area will be outside HMV and will host The Princess Project, balloon twister Gareth Le Page, Living Creations cactus fairy workshop, portrait artist Ryan de Haaff, and art activities from Emma Domaille. Our 20Gayteen Pride area will have a gay-ming zone run by Just Games and festival hair by Tribe. And we haven’t even started on the music!

Local super band The Recks fresh from Lattitude festival will be opening our main stage this year. We'll have a guest appearance by The Cuban Brothers and their 2018 Pride song 'I Hate Hate'. We'll then be joined by the London Gay Big Band following their fantastic set at London Pride in July. And to top it all off Kalon Rae from The Voice UK 2018 will be closing the show. We guarantee you will be up and dancing all day!

Our #20gayteen tent will be a little 'heavier' - we have two of the best local up and coming bands - track not found with their style of apocalyptic blues metal screamo riot teen rock! and Guernsey's very own LGBTQ punk/rock/alternative band VICE GSY. Make sure you catch them, and all the other bits going on outside HMV.

You’ll be able to grab some delicious food from Café Delices and drinks from the bar – curtesy of the Golden Lion.

There will be a selection of information stalls, along with the all the entertainment and plenty to eat and drink.

Pride After Party.jpg

If that's not enough to satisfy you then we still have the Official Pride AfterParty - DJ Rachel Ellektra - this was the hottest ticket in town at our last Pride, so get yours early:

Strictly over 18's.

And, The Cuban Brother will be headlining a gig supporting Pride at St James Concert and Assembly Hall in the evening (you'll also be able to catch Track Not Found again here as they will be supporting). This event is also open to anyone 16 years old. You can purchase tickets for this gig here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-cuban-brothers-support-a…
You can also add your Barbados after party tickets on to your Cuban Brothers ticket at this site and go to both events!
